Alex Spicer is a qualified architect who joined Matthew Lloyd Architects in 2016, an award- winning practice which has won recognition for sensitive, innovative, contextual architecture in urban settings - often in historic contexts. Alex was named 2023 Young Church Architect of the year by EASA, in recognition of his work at St Mary’s Walthamstow. His practice is centred on tectonics and is underpinned by a focus on the wider impact of design on cities.
