Frame Projects is a design focused project management consultancy. We are leading experts in design and community review – providing independent advice to clients, design teams and planning authorities on achieving the highest possible quality in development proposals.

 

We manage independent, multi-disciplinary design review panels on behalf of fourteen London planning authorities: Barking and Dagenham; Barnet; Brent; Bromley; Camden; Ealing; Greenwich; Haringey; Havering; Kensington and Chelsea; Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation; Oxford Street Development Corporation; Redbridge; and Waltham Forest.

 

Outside London we manage design review panels for: Ebbsfleet Development Corporation; Epping Forest; Folkestone & Hythe; Reading; Somerset; Suffolk; Thanet; and Watford.

 

We have substantial experience of providing design review services on behalf of infrastructure projects. Since 2015 we have been secretariat to the HS2 Independent Design Panel. In 2026 we established a similar panel on behalf of the Grand Union Canal Transfer project. In addition, we regularly provide design review advice on infrastructure projects as part of the local planning process, including power stations, solar farms, wind farms, and data centres. 

 

Building on our experience of design review, Frame Projects has pioneered community review – enabling people to share local expertise with developers and planning authorities. We manage community review groups for Brent; Ealing; Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation; Oxford Street Development Corporation; Southwark; and Tower Hamlets.

 

Because of our reputation for bringing people together to build consensus on complex design challenges, we are regularly asked to assist with research and advocacy projects for local and regional government, and institutional clients.
