Frame Projects is a design focused, project management consultancy. We are leading experts in design review -providing independent expert advice to clients, design teams and planning authorities on development proposals.

We manage multi-disciplinary design review panels on behalf of nine London planning authorities: Barking and Dagenham; Camden; Ealing; Haringey; Havering; Kensington and Chelsea; Redbridge; London Legacy Development Corporation; and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.

Frame Projects is also Secretariat to the HS2 Independent Design Panel, which has been set up at the request of the Department for Transport to help ensure that, through great design, HS2 delivers real economic, social and environmental benefits for the whole country.

We are also working to support high quality design for two proposed garden towns. In Kent, Folkestone & Hythe District Council appointed us to set up and manage a Place Panel for Otterpool Park Garden Town. In Essex, we have established a Quality Review Panel for Harlow and Gilston Garden Town, on behalf of Harlow Council, Epping Forest and East Herts District Councils. We also manage a separate quality review panel for Epping Forest District Council.

As an extension of this work, we manage community review groups for Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation and Dacorum Borough Council in Hertfordshire. We have also recently set up a Community Review Panel for the London Borough of Southwark to consider, specifically, development along Old Kent Road.  These groups complement the work of design review panels, bringing in the knowledge and expertise of local people so that new development meets their needs and aspirations.

The starting point for all our panels is collaborative working. We aim to understand the particular qualities and challenges of each place or project so that we can bring together panel members with the most relevant expertise for achieving high quality design.
