Eleanor Fawcett
Built Environment Fellow, 1851 Royal Commission
As the Built Environment Fellow for the 1851 Royal Commission, Eleanor Fawcett is developing a strategic approach to embedding places and infrastructure for emerging communities in the UK’s New Towns. Eleanor previously worked for the Mayor of London and was Head of Design at the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, where she led the ambitious masterplan for a new urban district at Old Oak. She also played a central role in the delivery of the Olympic Legacy as Head of Design at the LLDC and, prior to that, at Design for London. Eleanor is co-chair of the Greater Cambridge Design Review Panel.
