Ife Somefun graduated from the Architectural Association (BArch) and completed her Part 2 at the Royal College of Art. She founded Fantastic Plastic Studio, a practice exploring the intersection of material research, local craft and sustainable design through the reuse of plastic waste. The studio transforms discarded plastic into various pieces, ranging from everyday objects to architectural components such as tiles. The studio’s work has been showcased at exhibitions such as Design Week Lagos 2025. Her experience across architectural design, planning and sustainability in London and Lagos informs her innovative approach to design in the built environment.
