Joanna Wachowiak is a director at John Simpson Architects, a practice that specialises in contextual building design in sensitive historic settings. Joanna has experience of designing a variety of buildings in the cultural, education and residential sectors. Projects include The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, redevelopment at Kensington Palace, new schools and colleges at Eton, Oxford and Cambridge and residential developments. Joanna is a visiting critic and tutor for the summer schools organised by The Ax:son Johnson Centre for the Study of Classical Architecture at the University of Cambridge.
