Joseph Zeal-Henry

Chief of Arts & Culture, City of Boston

Joseph Zeal-Henry is designer, curator and urbanist. As Boston's Chief of Arts & Culture, he works to grow the creative economy and embed culture into everyday life. Joseph previously worked for the Mayor of London in the Culture & Creative Industries Unit, delivering new cultural infrastructure such as A House for Artists, New London Museum, East Bank and the Thames Estuary Production Corridor. He also co-curated the British Pavilion at Venice Biennale in 2023. A Columbia GSAPP professor and 2024 Loeb Fellow, Joseph bridges the gap between design, policy, and activism.
