Laurie Peake

Director, Super Slow Way

Laurie Peake is a curator, specialising in large-scale arts projects in public spaces, and enabling artists to collaborate with communities. She is currently Director of Super Slow Way, one of Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programmes. Laurie was previously a director of the Liverpool Biennial, where she developed strategic partnerships to deliver commissions with international artists in public spaces across Merseyside. Notable projects include Antony Gormley’s Another Place on Crosby Beach. She has also worked with Alsop Architects on a host of regeneration projects in post-industrial towns and cities across the north of England.
