Paul Appleby advises design and masterplanning teams on the integrated sustainable design of buildings and communities. He has worked on award-winning projects including Battersea Power Station, Tate Modern and Greenwich Millennium Village. Paul is a Design Council Expert and was previously a member of the HS2 Independent Design Panel. He has provided energy and sustainability advice to Ashford and Ebbsfleet, and has written extensively, including ‘Integrated Sustainable Design of Buildings and The Overburdened Planet’, published by Springer in 2025.
