Sanaa Shaikh is an architect with experience leading large-scale commercial and residential projects in the UK and internationally. Born and raised in London, she has worked on schemes to encourage community engagement in the built environment, aiming to holistically integrate buildings, places and landscape with the urban grain. Sanaa is a Design Council Expert, a trustee at Beam – a Public Arts Commissioning group, and co-lead of Climate Justice at the Architects Climate Action Network. Sanaa is also a public practice alumni and works with London borough of Bexley as Manager of the Placemaking Team.
