Takero Shimazaki has over 30 years’ experience in practice and a strong understanding of delivering high-traffic leisure, arts and cultural buildings that are specific to place, user and client. Having previously worked for Itsuko Hasegawa Atelier, Richard Rogers Partnership and Alison and Peter Smithson, Takero co-founded t-sa, which has completed bespoke projects in a range of sectors, including commercial and cultural. Takero is an external examiner at the universities of Cambridge, Cardiff, Kingston and Belfast, and currently teaches at The Cass, London Metropolitan University.
